NONUMENT is a Toronto-based architecture and design practice founded by Dom Cheng in 2020. Our studio is conceived as a place to work, play, learn, and grow without any a priori notions of a destination or particular style. Architecture, for us, is a collaborative enterprise to create buildings, spaces, objects, and everything in between that merge art with use. Our collective experiences can create new and inventive possibilities.

Dom Cheng is a registered architect with the Ontario Association of Architects with over 20 years experience accumulated at award-winning firms across North America. His works have been published in Canadian Architect, Canadian Interiors, Designlines, Protocol (Universität der Künste Berlin), On Site Review, POOL (UCLA), Paprika! (Princeton), LA+ Journal (UPenn), Drawing Futures (Bartlett), Warehouse Journal, The Globe and Mail, and Testing Ground Journal (University of Greenwich).
